Abstract Digital Image Correlation technique (DIC) is a non-contact optical method for rapid structural health monitoring of critical infrastructure. DIC used to extract Moment (M) – Curvature (κ) relationships using random speckle patterns. The pattern evaluated 2D measurements and shows an improved correlation with conventional measurements.
